It was a good choice! We've only had it for a little over a week, but it is a popular toy with my 7 month old and even my almost 3 year old. My 7 month old loves to play with his crinkly ears! She still doesn't crawl yet, but it is perfect to help her learn. All you have to do is barely pat the dog and it moves forward. I like that it doesn't go too far to encourage the baby to go after it. It makes cute noises and plays cute songs. You can make the dog go straight or in circles by bending the accordion part of his body. You can also set it so it doesn't move. You have the option of muting it too, which is nice if you get tired of the songs and noises. It is so cute and it is very durable (it has already been dropped several times and ridden by a two year old.) It walks really well on my tile floors but not at all on the carpet. My baby likes the sounds it makes and the crinkly ears. However, I bought this toy to help him learn how to crawl and the toy DOES NOT move at all on the carpet. At first I thought I had a defective one but I put it on the kitchen floor and it moved fine. What baby learns to crawl on the kitchen floor, though?! I would not have purchased this item with that knowledge. |

Follow Me Fiona pleases the visual and tactile senses with her bright colors and her soft head and tail. She features three cheerful tunes that are activated when your child touches her colorful buttons. A mute button turns off the sound, should parents prefer more peace and quiet.
At the top of each leg, Fiona has a fun button or shape. For example, on one leg she has a beaded mirror and on another, a hologram image. Your baby will have fun pressing these buttons.
Self-Rolling Puppy Encourages Crawling
Follow Me Fiona uses movement to help encourage your baby to crawl. By touching the puppy, your baby activates her to move, helping pique your baby's interest and delight the senses. Your baby will be drawn to keep up with or pet Follow Me Fiona as Fiona moves along. Fiona will bark encouragingly as a reminder for your baby to keep crawling after her.
Speeds to Suit Any Crawling Stage
Follow Me Fiona can be set to move in a circular motion or in a straight line by manipulating the puppy's unique accordion-shaped body. Parents can set the puppy to walk at different speeds by pressing the paw button on Fiona's front leg. This allows you to customize Fiona for your child's different crawling stages--slow at first and then faster when he or she is more able.
